This product is also referred to as deck liner, decking cloth, or platform cloth.

This "deck cover" is a light color fabric, perfect for use on those projects that have a light wood frame or are upholstered in a light colored fabric.

Deck cover or decking is used in upholstery projects as a platform under the seat cushion to give the furniture a finished appearance and to provide a spot for the cushion to rest upon. Since the deck or platform is not often visible, using deck cover is also a good way to eliminate the need to use expensive fabric in this area of the furniture piece.
